Many thanks to the fabulous Blue
Hour magazine for publishing my
haiku,'School Cycle'.

I wrote these poems earlier this
year, around the time my youngest
child started school.She was
absolutely fine I, on the other
hand, had a rather pathetic mummy
crisis!

Yep, it was all about me...but I'm feeling much better now. :-)

You can read the haiku here, along with plenty of other great quality writing!

  1. Ah, Michele, you’ve captured the tangle of emotions so poetically and vividly here, flooding my heart with the sensory and soulful memories of that transition. Thank you for the continued honesty, beauty and inspiration. x

  2. “But how will you hear my heart beat?” That line made my heart ache. Beautiful, Michele. So relatable and vulnerable. I love the end. Congrats on another publishing accomplishment. Hope you are well.
