  1. These are awesome.
I’ve been working for about a year on a poem about Sioux-style sky-burial. It’s also about ground-burial, cremation, the fences of offense and our dead dog. I guess it’s time I figure out where the hell I was going with it. Thanks for the impetus.

  2. I just love your writing. I….just LOVE it. Your talent just floors me, and in an odd way calms me.

Congratulations Michele. I suspect somehow, you will be published alot more in the future (as you should)!!!!!

  3. Loved re-reading these. Sky Burial is so primal–and the Halloween Poem is playful–I especially like how the speaker calls the poem home again–it speaks to the relationship we have to our work that we send out into the world. It comes back, yet changed a little–as are we.

    • Thanks Michael, kind of you to read these and comment – AGAIN! I must get some new poems up here, but have found that once something is published on the blog, magazines etc won’t take them – tricky! But a nice problem to have. Thank you so much for always being such a terrific support. :-)
